Sustainability is woven into every part of what we do, from the way we source materials to how we show up for our community. We’re proud to support causes that uplift mental health, women and children, minority-owned businesses, and local development. Our goal is simple: grow with purpose, and keep sharing the love.

Giving That Grows

As proud members of 1% for the Planet, we’ve donated over $250,000 to environmental and community nonprofits and have set a goal of reaching $1 million by 2030. Our impact spans climate action, conservation, food equity, and more. Recent partners include The Farmlink Project, Nest, and The Nature Conservancy through campaigns, donation drives, and giveaways.

Reimagining Waste

At CM, we reuse, repurpose, and rethink our waste. All of our paper is recycled or reused, and returned silver jewelry is often reimagined into custom keychains, turning what might be discarded into something meaningful. Behind the scenes, our team is just as mindful. We recycle in our offices, limit single-use plastics, and choose sustainable supplies wherever possible. Sustainability isn’t just a practice. It’s part of our mindset, from studio to shipment.

Packaging With Purpose

In our packaging, we partner with EcoEnclose for recycled and FSC-certified materials, keeping our footprint small and our intentions clear. We also source props and decor from Etsy sellers, supporting fellow small businesses and reducing overproduction. Sustainability is in the details. Even our boxes are designed to be loved, reused, or recycled.

Through our partnership with Shopify Planet, we offset 100% of the carbon emissions from every shipment by supporting cutting-edge carbon removal technologies and climate-forward solutions. Every delivery is a step toward a cleaner future and part of our broader commitment to reducing our footprint while raising the bar for responsible business.

We believe giving back should be part of the workweek. That’s why every CM team member receives 16 hours of paid volunteer time annually. Whether it’s mentoring youth, supporting local shelters, or joining environmental cleanups, our team is empowered to get involved in causes they care deeply about on the clock and with full support. It’s our way of making space for purpose, not just productivity.

We’re proud of our roots on Etsy and we haven’t forgotten where we started. That’s why we occasionally offer coaching and guidance to other Etsy shops and small businesses.
